Cole v. Sergeant

In honor of Veterans Day in the U.S., here’s another story that was previously for $5+ level but now is free as a special holiday Flashback Friday.

Cole was not a fan of the military. He lived near a base and had encountered more than one soldier he felt was ignorant and cocky. Sergeant Andrek especially loved when he could convert a protester, and sometimes all it took was finding the right set of keys and seeing how a subject responded. As he probed the boy’s subconscious, the Sarge soon discovered that all the protesting was truly rooted in a lack of role model that Cole always wish he had. “You don’t just need a mentor, boy. You need an authority figure. Someone to mold you into the finest of young men. Someone that you love to please and obey – for it feels so good for you to obey.”
